Couple of year ago then hipsterish gastro and beer culture started spreading to bars, restaurants and pubs and Svyturys introduced craft beer micro-line Raudonu plytu - red bricks beer. Red bricks popularity reached it's peak very fast and Svyturys decided to connect their craft beer with regular beer family. The brand is not one of the large monster breweries that looks down upon home and nano brewers. Vice versa - Švyturys was looking on how to relate to them even more. Having this in mind we had to create as many associations with craft culture as possible.
Starting with excursions in the brewery to show the uniqueness of the process, music to get audience in the right atmosphere and finishing with food, that is a great match for beer because of the complexity of its flavours, its ability to provide refreshment and to interact with many food flavours.
In all the parts of the event we sticked to the simplicity and showed natural processes and environment that helped to creative very open atmosphere for attendees.
The event was organised in brewery in Klaipeda, we used it's territory with everything that was inside - plain bricks, factory walls and even ramps. This created really hip and natural atmosphere. We organised excursions to the brewery where participants could see the actual process of beer brewing. The queues to this activity lined up since the morning.
We offered people to participate in beer degustation's delivered by experts and brewers.
They had possibility to try different beers starting with lagers and finishing with stouts and pale ales. In 2017 we had 2 different stages with famous and new bands.
