LIDL entering Lithuanian market was long awaited by the consumer, so it had to come with a bang. The biggest challenge we faced, was making sure opening date was kept secret until the last second, while at the same time managing a team of more than 400 promoters all across Lithuania.
We made sure that across every store in Lithuania every single person, who stood in lines for the opening, was welcomed with a smile, a cup of coffee and the iconic Lidl donut. Inside the stores we took care of queue management and ensured that every single buyer got their products personally packed, so every customer would feel appreciated and receive the best customer experience from day one.
