To offer a pandemic -friendly large scale activation that can operate all summer 24/7, be open and available to wide target audience and doesn't require extra supervision.
During the pandemic the possibilities to enjoy a sunny beach vacation are quite limited - local resorts are fully packed and all the flights are cancelled. So together with Telia and Vilnius municipality we decided to bring the holiday atmosphere for everyone who had to stay in the city - A large 16,6 square meters sand beach in the middle of Kudirka Square with a giant screen that broadcasts live video from the Palanga resort.
The beach was not only for relaxing and lounging, but also for working outdoors and enjoying those warm summer sunshines - the whole beach had free wi-fi hotspots, electric outlets to plug in laptops, and for those who like to stay active - a volleyball court. In the evenings the giant screen transformed into the outdoor cinema and on the weekends the beach offered activities for the little ones.
