Pernod Ricard - second biggest alcohol provider in the world. The brand encourages to go out and search for new moments and experiences because these encounters create a better world. With dozens of various alcoholic drinks brands in it's arsenal, Pernod Ricard is constantly looking for creative ways to present itself.

Goal

To encourage members of the bar community to start taking action towards more sustainable practices in their daily workplace.

Solution

Social campaign that is focused of reducing the usage of plastic straws in the bar environment. For 3 months bartenders from all the Lithuania collected used straws inside special bins, and after 3 months, all the collected straws were recycled and turned into decorations for bars.

For the recycling part we cooperated with a famous artist in Lithuania - Agnė Kišonaitė. Agnė melted all of the collected straws and made mask-shaped decorations for flower pots. The idea behind the masks - totems, that would protect bar visitors from unneccessary straw usage.

In order to celebrate the final step of the campaign we invited all the bar community members for a little gardening session where each and everyone planted flowers into the the finished flower pots - totems. The flower pots then were placed near the bar entrances as decoration.
